The Habsburg Palace
A beautyful, classical one-storey palace, dating back to the 18th centruy ist called the New Castle.
Town hall
This place is located in the market. With impressive meeting rooms, it´s the main seat of the city authorities. The front of the building features both towns´s and national coats of arms: Polish (left) and Żywiec (right).
Market place
This broard place is the heart of Żywiec including of the Foutain with the statue of Saint Florian.
Co-Cathedral in Żywiec
of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Built in Gothic and Renessance style, with extension and baroque alterations, it dates back to the 15th century.
Zywiecki Park
Former castle garden. It´s the area of 26 hectares divided into two parts. One consiste of lodgings (castle, palaces), the other on is regulary planted with a tree stand.
Statue of Maria Krystyna Habsburg
This lady is Maria Krystina Habsburg (08.12.1923- 02.10.2012). She was very polular because she came from the famous Habsburg familiy and decided to live here in Żywiec till death.
Belfry
The four storey stone tower was built in 1723-1724 as a replacement for a wooden construction which burnt down in 1721. At the top there is a weathercock, indication die driection of the wind.
Lidl
If you stroll a little bit around you find well known supermarkets like Kaufland and Lidl here in Żywiec.
Kraków
The Wawel castle
Built at the behest of King Casimir III the Great it consists of a number of structures situated around the Italien-styled main courtyard.
St. Mary's Basilica
is a church adjacent to the Main Market Square.Built in the 14th century, its foundations date back to the early 13th century. Standing 80 m tall, it is particularly famous for its wooden altarpiece of Veit Stoss.
St. Andrew's Church
Built in Romanesque style, it is one of the oldest buildings in Kraków and one of the best-preserved Romanesque buildings in Poland. It was the only church in Krakow to withstand the Mongol attack in 1241.
The Main Square
is the principal urban space located at the center of the city. It dates back to the 13th century, and at 3.79 ha is one of the largest Medieval town squaresin Europe.
The Juliusz Słowacki Theatre
was modeled after some of the best European Baroque theatres such as the Paris Opera and named after Polish poet Juliusz Słowacki.

Backyard in Kazimierz
Steven Spielberg used that backyard in the histical district of Kazimierz to produce his movie "Schindlers Liste".
